Luke Anderson grew up on the Mornington Penninsula, Melbourne. Boasting an eclectic appreciation for music, Luke never had a problem deciding what he wanted to do. At age 14, he was captivated and strongly influenced by the sounds of DJ’s such as Carl Cox, Calvin Harris and many more. This was the turning point when Luke realised that Dj-ing would be his life’s passion.
He moved to the Whitsundays, Queensland at the age of 17.. Dj-ing being his primary focus, he was determined to be involved with shaping the sound for the next generation.
Now L.A Walker DJ’s books all of Airlie’s live acts working all over North Queensland. This year Luke has played in Thailand and at various festivals, most notably River Sessions and Whitsundaze and full noise. Still only 21, he has collaborated with and supported the likes of Chardy, Ashton Shuffle, John Course, Hook and sling, One Love, Vandalism, Baby Gee, P money, Sure cut kids, to name but a few.
Over a short space of time Luke has solidified himself as the most influential DJs in the area, however he is always looking to broaden his horizons. Collaboration with other artists and musicians is the next step for Luke as has begins to produce his own music.
L.A Walker loves too play a wide selection of house/electro. From cutting edge remixed music too underground fresh tracks that smoothly blended in will get anyone on the dance floor, from vocal house too thick bass tracks which will make you bounce.
